THIS may not be something I thought of trying to describe, thinking “Oh well, they all know about it obviously.” Maybe people really don’t.
When I was a youth, several teenagers and older encircled me and TOLD ME they were “false surrogates” and announced they may or may not help me, may or may not listen to me, and won’t pay me–they wanted money. May be stealing it.
The other kind of false surrogate is someone mostly on their own and they simply steal some likeness and ideas from their targets.
Either type above may claim a connection to an individual or group and one may or may not exist. They may or may not represent someone else, and if they do it may be completely fraudulent or not real.
What is a “true surrogate”?
This is someone paid and legally attached and managed to a person or a group.
In my life, I was never certain who was representing me and where and if they actually knew who I was. I was very lost and swapped around with other children that people were boosting in the 1970s. I’ve mentioned the “surrogate culture” and in many ways it could have been “false surrogate culture” or possibly the real surrogates were getting copy catted? THERE WAS A REAL PROBLEM in the 1970s. Children were getting stolen to and from other countries full time. I can’t be angry that I got swapped a lot. It may have saved my life as well as others. However, it may have ruined my life if I wasn’t in that much danger at all.
I’ve been accused of being a false surrogate, however I can tell people that I wouldn’t know who they think I’m impersonating. I am not trying to steal money from anyone. If I learned about things while very young and it looked like copying, children are known to do this even for a little while. They try things out and make changes, even drop things they tried.
I probably had to be cycled out of many things because I was TOO WEAK. I was a weakened person very young. Didn’t matter how smart or dumb I was.
