People did put me on a stipend, and I was supposed to be fully available to help others with IPs throughout my life. Some actually did have me work with them politely when I was a lot younger. It got rougher, even abusive. I don’t remember why it got so crazy, could be the piggybacking people, could be misunderstandings. I actually was OKAY with not making a lot of money and joining people on productions. What it appears is I WAS SOLD OUT. Productions were actually SELLING MY POSITION to help fund the productions! That is what I heard it was. So I got left at home all messed up and even robbed at times, and then to get me onto a production I usually got hurt and drugged like an unwanted “convict producer”. A few called me, “Sea Hag”. Some people TRIED TO EXPLAIN: “No, don’t do this to her she’s not mafia enough!” So they didn’t do it as much after that. They may have had to stop altogether. Could explain why I was used less and less, not to mention the injuries were accumulating and I was not healing well at all. Being beaten up, I could not make deals. I guess some gangsters were angry I was attached at all?
So NO. I did not make the good money. Was not able to gather a lot of contacts and connections either. People got me in and out.
Sadly, it is too much of a history. I cannot go back and be a normal, credited producer or director. And honestly, I don’t need to. I really don’t! I’ve seen a lot of great movies and tv shows. There are so many very capable people working and have worked. No kidding. I don’t watch the awards shows any more. I only attended some in my youth. Some people really go through a lot of drama to help productions get made, it is worth applauding them! Yup. THEM!
I cannot go back and play “movie making” with bigger people. My body is too damaged and ill now. I am having trouble with mind and memory at times even at home. I’m old. I’m not wealthy. So please get others who are more capable, better funded, even more educated! Have fun, k?
Some people may be reading this and thinking: “Wait, what??” Yeah well, here is the thing. My feeling is all the mafia people got the big money. I was a good worker when I was a lot younger and not as messed up. I was really messed up over time. The big boys n gals made a lot of money off IPs I visited. I did what I could, okay? Honestly. And that may be why I am retired now and they told people, “NO, she’s done.” Please remember: I just visited. Sometimes I was only visiting a FEW MINUTES on a production. Okay? I was NOT a full time employed person at a studio or production, none of them.
I’m not certain what got so miswired early in my life. I can only think it was because I got retired, sold out and some had committed me too. A terrible combination.
