For my misdeed of typing unusual, out of character things on Twitter in 2020+!
The difficulty is I don’t have a prior criminal record, I have NOT committed a SIN or SINS, there was no follow up intended (mens rea) and I DID TAKE BACK ANYTHING OFFENSIVE WHEN ASKED ABOUT IT IN PERSON meaning I DID NOT PUSH A FURTHER AGENDA or statements or any actions for others to do.
For the courtrooms I did accept and acknowledge and ADMITTED A GUILTY PLEA that I had authentically “typed things out online”. They did not actually have me sign off on what I typed out specifically lined out(per post). I’ve actually signed off more on things for my dog at the grooming salons to be honest.
The offending Twitter posts I made that got me arrested in 2020 were removed before the year 2021. There was not a legal motion or requirement, I chose to remove the whole feed from online viewing. Essentially I admitted that I wrote something offensive to others and removed it from online. It was removed from public view. Eventually I deleted the account itself as a showing that I was NOT HOLDING ONTO THE CONTENT for any reason.
All this happened BEFORE 2022.
So I am laughing at the mom who told me felony! Because I wrote the courts over a year ago I would accept one just to get the case closed. I don’t think I earned even a misdemeanor, however I will accept it as an added punishment to the years of legal abuse I have taken from law enforcement in California. I’ll take on either label like a Disney collector’s pin. I’m good with God, and know it.
